Sales PS2010-35 Mandatory Fields on Sales Order

This mod makes the following On the General Tab of the Sales Order, make the “Customer Order No.” mandatory.  In addition, automatically display the “W” (Work Date) in the “Requested Delivery Date”, “Posting Date” on the General Tab and “Shipment Date” on the sales order lines.  This date must populate the fields upon creation of the Sales Order, although they will be allowed to be overwritten by the user.On the Shipping Tab of the Sales Order, make the “Ship-to-code” and “Shipment Method Code” mandatory.  That is to say, data must be entered in the field prior to posting or the user will see an error message.

This mod will prevent the same user that created a Journal from posting the same journal.  When General Journal or other Journal Batches are created, the authorized person’s USERID will be added to FORM 251, FORM 256, FORM 5628 & FORM 5629 as a non editable field.  This will apply the security feature to General, FA & Payment Journals.  When the user goes to Post the Batch, a check is made against the authorized USERID and if it does not match the USERID that is authorized to Post, an error message would display, indicating the user is not authorized to post the Journal Batch.  All Batches would require an authorizing USERID.

Jobs KSCM2009-27 Display Open Jobs in Job List and on Purchase Invoice Line

Company management may create a large amount of Jobs and therefore, the Jobs List display in the RTC is quite long.  In addition, Jobs are added to Purchase Invoices and Purchase Credit memos on a regular basis.  There needs to be a simplified way to view Jobs and enter Status “ORDER” jobs on a Purchase Invoice or Purchase Credit line. Use will change the Status to “Completed” that will prevent display only open jobs based on filters.

Jobs KSCM2011-31 Addition of Job No. Mandatory on General Journal Line

This mod provides the capability that when requires that when a specific G/L Account No. is selected as the Line Type on a General Journal, the Job No & Job Task No. will become a mandatory field and the General Journal cannot be posted.  In addition, when any General Journal line is created, the Journal cannot be posted unless there is a dimension added to the line.  This will be controlled by adding the Dimension Value “Mandatory” to the GL Account Card.   This modification also must be added to the Recurring Journal and the Intercompany Journal.

Receivables PS2010-55 Posting Multiple Overpayments to Invoice Company personnel require the ability to receive multiple payments from customers that will often result in multiple overpayments to an invoice.  Currently Navision will allow overpayments but as soon as the invoice is overpaid, it will be closed.  However, the overpayment is available as an “On Account” amount that can be applied to future invoices.  This modification will provide the ability to post various payment amounts to different banks as amounts on the invoice due to different payment terms on the invoice per standard NAV.

This modification allows the user the opportunity to both Post & Pay Purchase Invoices without creating a Payment Journal and also when the Payment Journal is selected for multiple invoices, users can either default the payment date to the Posting Date of each individual Purchase Invoice or enter a Posting date on the dialog box for all lines.
